🤔 Review:
"Spookily Yours" is a cute read that added a cozy vibe to my Halloween season. The plot idea was interesting, featuring a witch and a demon cat who needs her help to break a curse. However, the book felt like a YA novel with adult spice, which made it challenging to get a solid foothold on the story.
Willow and Damien were cute together, but I found it hard to get invested in them beyond the surface level. The third act introduced some tension that had me excited, but it was resolved so quickly that I was left wondering about the point of the whole plot. The setting was charming for a fall-themed book, but it was difficult to invest in the story fully.
Despite these points, it was a fun read with a unique premise. If you enjoy light, spooky romances with a touch of magic, this book is worth picking up. Just be aware of the YA and adult themes clashing.
