πŸ€” Review:
"Scarred" is an intriguing fractured fairytale based on The Lion King, filled with romance, betrayal, and the fight for power. I was intrigued by the premise of this story and loved it when the "villain" got the girl. One of the best things about the book was how vivid the two main characters were. They definitely stay in your mind after reading and make the story an intriguing read.

Tristan's path to glory and battle against his brother added a thrilling element to the story. His determination to claim the throne and his leadership of a secret rebellion kept me hooked. However, I would have liked more plot development over romance, as the ending felt abrupt and rushed. When a significant event happened at the end (no spoilers), I thought, "Huh, that was it?"

Despite these points, it was a fun read. The romance was intense (so be prepared - see what I did there?), and the characters were well-developed. If you enjoy stories with a big dose of romance and power struggles, this book is worth picking up.
