What I loved:
1. Ford + Millie 💕
2. Friends-to-lovers trope 👫
3. Ford’s daughter 😂

"Coach" follows football star Ford Ellis, who returns to Montana as the Wildcats' head coach. Once he arrives, he's reunited with Millie Calloway, the one who got away. As old feelings resurface, they must navigate their shared past and Ford’s determination to win her back.

If you’re a fan of sports romances with a side of second chances, this book delivers! I enjoyed Ford and Millie's slow-burn romance, especially since they were friends first before becoming something more. The chemistry between them was palpable, and watching Ford squirm to win back Millie’s trust after his poor decisions early on was so satisfying.

Ford’s daughter was a standout with her bluntness and hilarious moments of honesty, bringing a lot of levity to the story. However, I wish Millie had set clearer boundaries with her icky ex right from the start—he was a character to side-eye. And while I’m not the biggest fan of third-act breakups, this one didn’t drag on, so it was easy to forgive.

The mix of family, romance, and football made this a cozy, feel-good read. If sports romance is your jam, "Coach" is definitely worth picking up!
