What I loved:
1. Evelina πŸ’ͺ
2. The undercover mixed emotions from Nicholas 😍
3. Wizard of Oz references 🌈

πŸ“– About the Book:
Evelina Westerly, the ruthless botanist behind her family's drug empire, finds her life complicated when she discovers her one-night stand is actually Nicholas Woodsworth, an undercover DEA agent determined to bring her down. As their attraction grows amidst their conflicting missions, Nicholas must decide if he can love a woman who embodies everything he's against, even if it means risking both their lives.

πŸ€” Review:
Okay, I am sold on these fractured fairytale reimaginings. I've always loved the villain and these reimaginings giving them their HEA are hitting the spot. Evelina delivered as a badass FMCβ€”she was smart, sassy, and wicked with a soft undertone. Her chemistry with Nicholas was great, and I especially enjoyed the undercover mixed emotions from him. The plot was fun, and I guess I'm a sucker for stories with a dark family.

However, I wish there had been more time dedicated to the revenge aspect. It was great, don't get me wrong, but I would have loved to spend more time with Evelina getting justice with a certain individual. Maybe that says more about me than I realize. 😜

This is definitely tied with Hooked as my favorite in the series, so far.
