πŸ“– About the Book:
Maggie Chase, the Queen of Cozy Mystery, and Ethan Wyatt, a big-time thriller author, are forced to team up when the famous mystery writer Eleanor Ashley vanishes from a locked room during a Christmas house party. As they navigate a snowbound mansion filled with secrets, Maggie and Ethan must uncover the truth and save Eleanor, all while dealing with their own rivalry and growing attraction.

πŸ€” Review:
This was such a fun, unexpected joyful read! I loved the mystery element of this story and the dual POV of Maggie and Ethan. Their dynamic was delightful, and I enjoyed their banter throughout the book. I was hooked from the very first page, eager to find out whodunnit and to see how Maggie and Ethan would work together. Plus, the isolated setting and Maggie's passion for writing cozy mystery stories added a charming touch.

Carter did such a great job of creating characters that were vivid and relatable. Ethan's backstory was intriguing and made me root for him all the way, while Maggie's journey of finding her self-confidence after her divorce was heartbreaking and moving.

However, I was a bit annoyed with the assumptions and miscommunication aspect between the two MCs for the first quarter of the book. I won't lie, it created great tension and worked itself out in the end, but it's not one of my favorite tropes.

Overall, this was a perfect cozy mystery that kept me entertained and guessing until the very end.
