🤔 Review:
Cowles did it again. She has a way of sucking me into a story, and I was immediately drawn in with Rhodes' tragic beginning. Watching her find her inner strength and face her past was incredibly inspiring. Her found family was heartwarming, especially her hilarious grandmother, and I can already tell I am going to love this series.
The dynamic between Rhodes and Anson was perfect. Their grumpy and sunshine relationship was endearing, and I was rooting for them the whole time. Anson's past was also devastating, adding layers to his character. The mystery aspect kept me guessing until the very end, making the book hard to put down.
Cowles has a talent for creating compelling characters and intricate plots that draw you in from the first page. If you're looking for a story with strong character development, romance, and a gripping mystery, this book is a must-read.
