π About the Book:
Arden Andersen, hiding from her traumatic past, finds solace in her art and the support of her family and friends. When her brother's best friend, Lincoln Pierce, moves onto their property, Arden's carefully crafted lies begin to unravel, and Linc steps in to protect her from the dangers that resurface.
π€ Review:
I thoroughly enjoyed Arden and Linc's story, especially their tragic backstories. Arden's journey through serious trauma and her healing process with the help of her art, family, and friends was truly heartwarming. Her dog, Brutus, was a wonderful addition, providing her with much-needed comfort and protection.
Linc's determination to peel back the layers of Arden's guarded personality was admirable, and I loved how he balanced protecting her with respecting her autonomy. While I did predict part of the reveal, there was another twist that completely took me by surpriseβas you can see from my reaction. HA!
I love following the Colson family, and I CAN'T WAIT to get to Kye and Fallon's story.
