๐Ÿ“– About the Book:
Viola Bowen gets the opportunity to design a video game based on her favorite book series, but she has to work with her arch-nemesis, Jesse Andrews. Forced to spend a week together at a remote mountain lodge for team-building, Viola discovers there's more to Jesse than she thought, leading to unexpected heat and revelations.

๐Ÿค” Review:
I enjoyed the build-up of the tension between Viola and Jesse. I swear I was yelling in my car, "What the hell is his problem!?" I probably looked crazy, but like Viola, I had to know what was up with Jesse. When it was revealed why Jesse was treating Viola like "that", I was frustrated because it was a BIG miscommunicationโ€”one of my least favorite tropes. Although, I did enjoy the heat between them once they realized they both liked each other.

I was intrigued by the setting/subplot of the two gaming firms having to get along to work on the design of a popular video game. I would have liked more to this aspect of the story, but when Viola and Jesse finally get together, the plot kind of stops. This was a quick and fun read with Hazelwood's classic humor, but I felt like it gave up the last quarter of the story.
