The Man Who Died Twice
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Spice: None
What I loved:
1. The humor 😂
2. Elizabeth & Joyce’s dynamic 🕵️♀️
3. Bogdan 💎
When Elizabeth receives a letter from an old colleague who’s on the run with stolen diamonds, The Thursday Murder Club is thrown into another wild investigation—one involving mobsters, secret identities, and unexpected betrayals.
Back with gang, and let me tell you—this installment did not disappoint! Osman delivers another brilliantly witty, twisty mystery, packed with lovable characters and a plot that keeps you hooked. The humor was top-notch, the friendships were heartwarming, and the English charm was just the best.
Elizabeth remains a queen, and getting more of her backstory was such a treat. But the real scene-stealer for me? Bogdan. He comes in clutch every time and never questions anything the group asks of him. He is loveable and yet mysterious. And of course, Joyce’s diary entries add that extra layer of charm and hilarity, making this book such a delight.
The audiobook is also perfection—the narration captures the cozy yet thrilling atmosphere beautifully. If you loved the first book, you’ll adore this one. Now, off to read book three because I need more of this quirky, murder-solving squad!
